I used to be so certain
Who: Buffy Summers (
rulebreaks) and Blaine Anderson (
justlove).
Where: Some hallway somewhere, and then leading who knows where. They have a whole mansion at their disposal, after all.
When: 8/25, afternoon.
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: Buffy and Blaine run into each other. Conversations happen.
The Story:
It's been a weird few weeks, what with all the events that Wonderland's been throwing at them, and Blaine feels it's a safe conclusion to make that he's not handling things all that well. More often than not, he can't stay asleep for more than a few hours at a time, so he's gotten in the habit of taking long walks at night when everyone else is asleep.
He can't sleep anyway, but of course, those long walks have an expected effect on him: he's tired basically all the time. And that, in turn, means he's on a bit of a short fuse. Sure, he can get that out by a good hour-long session with that punching bag that he rigged up on the second floor, but he's already had a close shave with that once. He was relieved to find out that it wasn't broken, just sprained, but that's bad enough.
But now, it's mid-afternoon, and he's out walking again. If nothing else, it passes the time, and well, it can't be said that he's not getting his exercise.
