James is pretty quick to open the door when he hears who's there, and he leans against the frame with a big, fond smile on his face. She's likely learned by now that he doesn't live in his old room, since he's moved in with his wife. He hadn't been up to anything in particular, and he seems glad for the interruption of all the nothing he was doing.
