Who: Diva, Fai, anyone who wants to join
Where The mansion's foyer (and anywhere within hearing range)
When: Uhhh... right now? >.>
Rating: PG, just to be safe? Will change if needed
Summary: Having just arrived, Diva is confused and slightly annoyed
the Story:

Blinking her eyes open, Diva wasn't sure when she'd fallen asleep, but she wasn't worried. She was still prone to easily falling asleep, having just recently come out of her Long Sleep. Standing up from her place on the lawn, Diva looked around to see neatly trimmed hedges, trees and a pond, but not any rose bushes. Frowning slightly when she didn't see any of the bushes that housed the blue roses she loved so much, Diva started walking along the path between two rows of hedges.

Eventually coming across the mansion, Diva's frown deepened when she realized that it did not look like Amshel's. It was possible that he had changed it while she was hibernating, but he knew how she felt about red things that weren't blood. Red was Saya's color, Diva didn't want it!

Frown still in place, Diva hurried into the building made of red bricks, but paused in the foyer. This is...

Putting her hands on her hips and pouting, Diva declared, to no one in paticular, "This is unacceptable!"

Fai hadn't been doing very much, to be perfectly honest. He had only wanted to stretch his legs, and take a walk around the massive mansion. He thought about heading to the kitchens, simply so he could be seen walking to them. Recent events had exposed him for what he had become, but it had become almost habit to head there.

There seemed to be something more interesting in the foyer though, or rather, someone more interesting. Fai leaned on the railing, peering down at her from where he was on the second floor. He chuckled, perhaps loud enough for her to hear him. " That sounds like a newcomer," he said with a grin.

Pushing himself off the railing with grace, he headed down the stairs, properly making himself known.

" Hello!" Fai called out to her, with a small wave. He was certainly cheerful enough. " You seem a bit lost, miss."

Fai had similar observations as he approached her. There was a quality about her that struck him as inhuman, though he was equally certain they were not exactly the same. He showed no recognition of this though, and returned a smile to her.

" I'm afraid I don't know who Amshel is," he said. " But this mansion is in a place called Wonderland. It takes in people from various worlds, and traps them here. You...may want to make yourself comfortable, for the time being."

And that was enough of that. There were terrible things that went along with it - memory loss, torturous events, and so on, but that was hardly a way to welcome a lady such as herself.

" Where are my manners?" he said with an unbreakable smile. " You may call me Fai. And who might you be, miss?"

" It's very nice to meet you, Diva," Fai said. " It's a shame about your chevaliers. It's possible they may appear here in the future though, so perhaps you will see them again, or Amshel."

Not that Fai entirely knew what a chevalier was, but it didn't change the possibility that they might show up.

" As for the story, mm, it's something like that," Fai said, running his hand through his hair. " It has it's similarities, but it's not a direct copy. It's more like a motif, I suppose. Not that it really takes the wonder away."

Diva had a regal air about her. It was hard not to notice, as Fai had spent a considerable amount of time among such people. Royalty, royalty who remembered they were so, held themselves in a distinctive way. There was no mistaking it. It was almost...unnerving.

" You're very sharp," Fai complimented her. " There is a Queen who recently chopped the head off of a young girl. She is quite the villain, here." He didn't sound terribly pleased about that turn of events, though that entire week had been awful for him. Anything involving those mirrors was.

" It sounds as though you'll be fine whether your chevaliers arrive or not then," Fai said, hoping somehow that they would. " Even so, I wouldn't mind showing you around just a bit. I really have been here for some time, after all."

" The understanding we all have," Fai explained, " is that she was punishing the girl for something. But no one on this side knows much more than that. That and I suppose you could say it fits that story!" He smiled then, but it was a bit weak.

Weak as it was though, he maintained it, as he gestured for her to follow him. There was plenty to see, but he kept a leisurely pace - they quite literally had all of the time in the world.

" Me? Oh...some time now." It wasn't a proper answer, but it kept the conversation away from himself. " Is it difficult to make more?"

" Ah," Fai replied. " I suppose I can see where you're coming from, there." Anyone would prefer to have something good over something bad. It did not make it any less unnerving though, to hear that she could so easily make them.

He led her down the hall, heading toward the kitchens, a path he knew well simply because it would be strange for him not to. " There are ten floors, and an attic," he said. " There are also tunnels below."

" Though, I wonder," he glanced over at Diva. " What...is a chevalier, exactly?"
