The Part of Vincent von Hamburg-Rutledge III Is Being Played by Richard Castle
Who: Richard Castle and YOU
Where: A room in the hotel where soap operas are real.
When: Any time during the event.
Rating: PG-13 right now.
Summary: Castle steps into a soap opera and you are all invited to be ridiculous with him.
The Story:
Castle was exploring the hotel when he suddenly felt compelled to open a random door and step inside.
He found himself entirely transformed.
No longer was he Richard Castle. He was now Vincent von Hamburg-Rutledge III, an exceedingly wealthy senator who held dark secrets in his past. Even his clothing changed into that of a sharp suit with a silk tie. He was refined, his manners perfect, and suddenly flawlessly handsome. That wasn't much of a change though.
The room was an opulent parlor filled plush couches and arm chairs next to a roaring fire. Million dollar paintings hung on the walls next to priceless vases.
Please feel free to join Mr. von Hamburg-Rutledge III for some tea (or brandy, if you would prefer).

"Serendipity! How did you get in here? I thought you were still in jail."

She went to slap him again, enraged.
"If it were up to you, I'd rot in jail forever!"

"For what you did? You deserve it!"

She threw the stole on the sofa and pulled off her gloves. As he stepped back, she stepped forward.
"You set me up! You know I'm innocent!"

"You know what you did Serendipity."

She threw her hair over her shoulder as she turned away, biting her lip.
"Besides fall in love with the wrong man."

Walking over to the liquor cabinet, DeVille pours himself, with a strange sense of unease, a tumblr of fine brandy.

Their relationship is.. turbulent. The last article had been particularly scathing.
"I've read your most recent work."

"I think you could stand to get better sources."
He eyed the glass of bourbon, then Matthew.

"Really? They're usually impeccable. Did they get something wrong?"

The brandy seems tempting, but cooler heads somehow prevail, and young Robert opts for a cup of tea instead.

Vincent liked Robert but he liked the connections to his wealthy parents even more. He would be a fool to turn him out.

Robert liked Vincent as well; there was something about the other man that just made him like him. Maybe it was the money, or maybe it was the man's nature that seemed gregarious but also secretive, like there were some things he wanted to keep to himself. But as Robert knew very well, a well-thought out question could yield fascinating results.
"And what about you? How are you?"
no subject
He sat down rather dramatically in the armchair across from Robert, clutching his brandy. There were.. things on his mind. But no, he could not trouble young Robert with his problems.

Financial troubles, perhaps? A scandal involving a woman? There were any number of things that it could be. "Anything I can do?" Yes, that seemed a satisfactory answer; offer a wiling ear and see what might come of that.
