Where Kitchen, hallways between there and Sam Winchester's floor, outside in front of the mansion
When: Bendy time to Friday evening (enjoy the benefits of bendytime?)
Rating: R (violence, language, multiple character deaths)
Summary: Faith finally snaps, enjoying a killing spree and some of the characters rally to stop her.
Notes: This log post will act as the main action post for the immediate mini!plot. This just means that all of the things we've discussed in email should probably occur here, in the threads I've set up, to make everything easy to handwave and bendytime. If any of you want to play out anything else, feel free to make another thread or your own post, however you wanna do it. If you can OOCly link back to this post, or the corresponding thread(s) when you post to the characters' journals, that would rock but it's just a suggestion to keep everyone on the same page. Feel free to melee tag at all of these threads, and vague it up whenever details that haven't been played out happen. If I missed anything as always, let me know and let's go have some fun!
the Story:
The last snap is tiny; like the subtle sound she makes when stepping on a twig out in the forest. Only the forest doesn't help her escape anymore. Faith's gone blind, and she roams through the mansion looking for something to stop the thoughts in her head. Waking up out of a fucking video game that she hadn't even realized wasn't normal had been just another mind fuck, enough to push her over that last little edge she'd been hanging onto. Electricity hums through her muscles, but another fight isn't going to cut it; bruises only hurt so long, broken bones set and heal too quickly to distract from the real pain. She stinks of smoke and alcohol and it doesn't help anymore, doesn't cover up the smell of blood on her hands. So why keep trying to escape?

Sam grimaces when he hears that skull-crushing sound, having heard it way too many times in his life while grappling with some deranged creature from the netherworld. Even as he wonders how badly he'll be guilt-tripping over this, he realizes that she's not dead, and is, in fact, just as lively as ever.

He sees her hand reaching out for something even as she starts struggling against him, and the only thing Sam could think of to do at the moment is to grab for her arm before it manages to reach... oh. The knife. That'd be awesome.

Trying to pin her down despite the way she's moving to reverse their positions, Sam tries one last-ditch effort to reason with her. "Faith, look at me! Look! What are you trying to prove? Do you really think stabbing me is going to solve any of your problems?" Of course, he's in a bit of pain at this point and probably sounds more angry than concerned, but hell, at least his eyes are still sincere.

For a moment, Sam thinks he's actually getting through to her. She hesitates, she's thinking, and Sam makes a mistake. He assumes that no matter how far gone people go, they can always come back. He realizes his mistake soon enough.

He doesn't quite register what she says before his head suddenly explodes with pain, bad enough to be reminiscient of the post-vision migraines he used to suffer. He wonders vaguely if this is some kind of cracked-out surprise training session Ruby's kicked up, but then he feels something hot burying itself into his stomach.

Suddenly unable to keep her pinned down, Sam finds himself falling back off of her. He manages to look down and sees something protruding from his stomach, but it doesn't make sense. When had she... how did...?

And then the pain comes back, and it's all he can do to hiss out, "Shit," not knowing what else to do.
